    What this uppercase converter preserves

Numbers, punctuation, spaces, tabs, and blank lines stay in place. Line endings are standardized. Each conversion accepts up to 100 lines and 20,000 Unicode code points; a trailing line break counts as an empty line. Oversized input is not silently cut down.

    Uppercase is not title case

a guide for writers becomes A GUIDE FOR WRITERS here. A title-style converter would keep some letters and small words lowercase. For a paper or publication, use the APA tool, AP tool, or choose another title style.

    Questions about uppercase conversion

    Does it support accented letters?

It changes English letters a–z only. For example, café becomes CAFé, not CAFÉ. Accented and non-Latin characters stay unchanged. This is not a locale-aware converter.

Does it preserve names such as iPhone?

No. English letters in names become uppercase too. Preferred spellings belong to title case and sentence case, not this all-uppercase mode.

Can I use it for URLs or code?

They are treated as plain text. Changing letter case may break a path, identifier, or password. Use it only when your destination explicitly accepts uppercase text, and do not paste secrets.

Is this different from CSS text-transform?

This tool produces uppercase text you can copy elsewhere. CSS can display a website heading in capitals without changing the source text. Choose based on whether you need changed text or only a visual treatment.

Can I change uppercase back to lowercase?

Use the uppercase-to-lowercase converter. It makes all English letters lowercase; it cannot recover the original mixture of capitals and lowercase letters.
